Basin Seminaries' headquarters and primary outdoor classroom is situated on the Spotted Frog Ranch in southern Oregon. This 200-acre ranch is home to what will become a multi-decade effort of ecological restoration and regenerative land use practices. The ranch will evolve through time into a regenerative ecological landscape where human beings collaborate with plants and animals to increase ecological diversity and resiliency, and produce food for people in the community. The ranch sits along the Wood River in the Upper Klamath Basin and is home to many diverse species of plants and animals, including several species of endangered fish and the endangered Oregon Spotted Frog.
Once called the "Everglades of the West," the Klamath Basin provides opportunity to learn about regenerative land practices and religious study in a regional context dominated in the last century by industrial agriculture.
